Lagune collection: jewelry inspired by us

19 July 2019

The history of the Venetian lagoon includes legends, romantic stories of impossible love, and ancient traditions handed down over the centuries.
Each island in our archipelago has its own unique and beautiful elements, which inspired our designer Marzia Pendini to create an extraordinary collection based on magnificent emeralds: the Lagune collection.

Lido of Venice
The island of celebrities. Its white beaches are a perfect refuge for a Sunday getaway or a romantic evening. The sound of the sea will be the background to the words of love whispered in the ear of your beloved.

Island of Mazzorbo
Home to rich palaces and characterized by many churches and monasteries.
Although it was eclipsed by the power of Venice and relegated to being a “country” island, it was not used only for agricultural activities; rather, it continued to be a place of entertainment for the Venetian aristocracy.

Island of the Lakes
A virgin island that had never been inhabited; it was rediscovered only after the nineteen sixties, when the territory, which had been swampy, was reclaimed.
Its beauty lies in the nature that defines it, and which gives it the air of a strong woman, who knows how to be wild and charismatic, and never goes unnoticed.

Islands of the Roses
If we know when an island was born, it becomes a person, a friendly land and a safe haven.
The Island of the Roses, the youngest in the Venetian lagoon, was born in 1870. Halfway between the lagoon and the sea, it is characterized by a magnificent 16-hectare garden with a special micro-climate that allows rare plants like olive to thrive.

Island of Vignole
Appreciated since Roman times for its tranquility and serenity, it has always been known as a place to relax and unwind.
In ancient times, it was in direct contact with the Adriatic Sea, which inland led to the birth of a thriving cultivation of vines with a particular taste that only the sea breeze can give.

Island of Malamocco
Among the oldest settlements on the lagoon, it was once a port of Padova and the Doge’s residence.
Also called “little Venice”, the white Murazzi stand out on its coast, perfect for those who want to enjoy the warm rays of the sun and a privileged place from which to admire the fires reflecting on the water during the Redentore festival.

Island of Certosa
Home to churches and monasteries since 1422, today only a few ruins of these remain on the Certosa island. Legend has it that the treasure of the Zecca of Venice was buried here, hidden from Napoleon when his troops marched in to occupy the city.
According to the story, the treasure was hidden in a “small cloister”, awaiting the arrival of better times.

The Lagune collection was created exclusively with platinum frames and large precious stones which come with GIA and HDR certificates.
Each gem seeks to capture and transmit an image of the light reflecting on the Venetian waters, something that gives its uniqueness to our islands, which shine like precious stones on a velvet cloth.
