Salvadori at SIHH 2018

Salvadori participated in the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie), the famous luxury watchmaking exhibition held annually in Geneva, Switzerland, where the world’s most prestigious watchmakers gather to share their latest innovations and creations.

Created in 1991, the exhibition has grown over the years to become the foremost event in Fine Watchmaking. The 28th edition of the event took place on 15-19 January 2018 and welcomed approx. 20,000 visitors, an increase of 27% over last year.

One of the most talked about events was the debut of the Fiftysix collection by Vacheron Constantin. A collection that for the first time presents a version in steel aimed at reaching out to a younger clientele.

The Officine Panerai presented its new products, including the L’Astronomo, announced as the company’s first watch to have moon phases indication, as well as an innovative system for indicating the date using polarised crystals.
